As we walked into St Jean we were delighted to see the sign for this charming chambre d'hote. Run by an English couple, the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The couple are very efficient and friendly with lots of helpful advice. Breakfast was delicious, lots of local produce and beautifully presented. A lovely place to finish a long walking holiday

Touring the French / Spanish border, we had a nice welcome from Tim, and at breakfast he helped us planning our day driving over the mountain passes of the Pyrenees. It was the best day of the trip in the end, because we followed all the tiny roads we wouldn't have found without help! Thank you, Tim and Lisa

I was greeted by Louisa , she was delightful. I felt welcome as she carried my pack to my room and showed me around. I inquired about dinner and took her up on it. I was so pleased as I had a true French experience. Breakfast was special as the food was a 10. I would recommend this B&B to all. Fairly priced and out of the mainstream.

We highly recommend Tim & Louise' place. It's close to everything in town, yet has the comfort and quiet of a country home. We arrived the last evening of a festival and we're delighted by fireworks at our window. It was a perfect way to start.

This is a great place to stay in Saint Jean Pied de Port. The rooms are very nice, clean and private. A good starting point for exploring the town and the Pyrenees. We were hosted by Valerie, friend of the owners, who with her enthusiasm for the region made our stay very special. We hope to be back!

Tim and Louise's b&b was warm, clean and comfortable and close to everything in St Jean. A lovely breakfast too. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks Tim and Louise.

This B&B is even more beautiful and special - than any pictures convey. Tim was a gracious and helpful host. He made for us a delicious French breakfast with all local foods. It was just what I needed to help rejuvenate and motivate me on my way forward to the Camino de Santiago. I wish I could describe the views from my balcony. You'll have to see for yourself!!

Tim was a lovely host. He was waiting for us when we arrived and was knowledgeable in answering all of our questions about the town. He even gave us a tip on a great morning hike that we took. The room was perfect - a comfortable bedroom in a beautiful B&B right in front of the Citadelle. Perfect location for everything.

Arriving on St Jean Pied de Port for the first time, Time and Louise's B&B is an ideal place to stay. Just outside the Port Saint Jacques and the Citadelle; it is a charming well placed house. Tim welcomes you in his easy going manner and the room (with en suite facilites) was comfortable, large, airy and with a good view. A copious breakfast at a large family table with the other Camino novices meant that I felt I had made friends before even starting out "on the road" . Tim is most helpful with advice and directions so I set off on the Camino feeling full of confidence - very important when on one's own! Many thanks Tim and Louise.
Errecaldia feels more like a family home than a B&B. It was rather pleasant having English hosts too.
Tim and Louisa made me feel very welcome from the start. They provided me everything I needed, and offered a wonderful breakfast. They gave me, moreover, as much space as I wanted and needed and left me to my own devices. My goal was to get away to their beautiful village and relax in peace and I was able to do just that. Errecaldia was calm.
Great views! And wonderful breakfasts--very filling and regional and delicious--with great coffee. Thank you for not being too imposing and leaving me in peace--and even for keeping breakfast for me late one morning. I really appreciated that.

Tim and Louisa's B&B, "Erracaldia", is a wonderful place to stay if you are going to Saint Jean Pied de Port. It was a really nice room with my own bathroom. Beautiful view from my room as well. Delicious breakfast in morning - a good start before walking the Camino Frances. Tim gave me the weather forecast in the morning. Both Tim & Louisa are really gently and nice hosts. Stay and this place! I will for sure stay at this place again.

Extraordinary bearing in mind we arrived at 8.00am. Having biked for two hours. Immediately provided a feed and prepared a room for us to immediately move into. Then offered to wash our clothes. Brilliant hosts.
Guys, you were great considering in New Zealand you are called 'bloody moaning Poms'. Inviting us to share evening barbeque and over some wine sort out the world's problems was special. Like minded free spirits we enjoyed your company and consider you friends even though our paths may never again cross.
Waikato, New Zealand June 2015
A most beautiful place to stay- photos cannot do Errecaldia justice! Our room was beautifully furnished with a peaceful outlook - next time we will be staying a lot longer if Tim and Louise will have us. Ps if you do stay make sure that you sample the cherry jam - best we have ever had!
Thanks Tim and Louise, had a fantastic time thank you for sharing your space with us. Although room was a highlight nothing could beat that breakfast and the morning conversation ´thanks Tim for organizing ride and luggage pick up- everything is going well with the walk apart from sore feet - but that is to be expected.

This is a true B and B which means a real breakfast with your room. I enjoyed the hospitality of Tim and Luisa. I think they underplay the great location of their home which is literally just outside the walls of this historic medieval town that sits at the French beginning of the Camino de Santiago de Compestela. This 350 year old home more than lived up to my expectations.
